Well, it seems as though this blog is finally up and running after a couple of false starts. I must clean out my photo library as uploading pictures caused me to lose everything I had written on the first couple of tries. I'm new at this so please bear with me.

If my good friend, Marcus Giuliano, hadn't gotten me started I probably would not have attempted to start a blog, so many thanks to him for his time and patience and encouragement. Marcus is the chef extraordinaire of the fabulous Aroma Thyme Bistro, owned by him and his lovely wife Jamie. We are so lucky to have them right here in the Village of Ellenville. Check it out! Hudson Valley Thrift Shop/ Jezebel's Bazaar

Since its' opening in June of 2009, Jezebel's Bazaar has received a warm welcome from the residents and the business community of the Village of Ellenville as well as the broader community of the Hudson Valley. Located just 1/2 block east of Rt. 209 and Center St. we are directly across from the site of the Ellenville Farmer's Market which is a "happening" every Sunday from June through October. Luckily, many of our customers discovered us on the way to pick up their weekly farm fresh vegetables and fruit from the many wonderful vendors who participate. We are grateful for the farmer's market for many reasons. Only 8 months until it happens again!

In the meantime, come visit us anytime Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10am - 5pm or call for an appointment 845- 797- 3163 and we are happy to oblige if possible.

Jezebel's offers something for everyone from new, gently worn, designer and vintage clothing and accessories to household items, antique furniture and more modern pieces, hamadan rugs and shag carpets. We have a growing selection of men's and children's clothing, too. Also a great source for gifts, we always have an interesting selection of art glass, beautiful crystal, pottery and unique items you won't find at the mall. 

Our locals love the incense, CDs and DVDs @2/$5. and we sold out all of our potted aloe vera plants for $5, but will have more available soon as well as other varieties. 

We have sold so many wonderful one-of-a-kind things and try to keep well supplied to keep it interesting, especially for our 'regulars'.  Come see us soon so you don't miss out!!
